"Scientific Programs and Astronomy Education in SEE & Ukraine"
Bucharest, 16-18 September 2005
Organized by the Sub-Regional European Astronomical Committee (SREAC) and
the Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy, with financial support
from UNESCO-ROSTE.
The problems to be discussed are related to astronomy education within the
following topics:
- Solar Physics;
- CCD astrometry using ground-based telescopes;
- Observations and data processing of Solar system bodies;
- Theoretical aspects concerning the dynamics of the Solar system;
- Physics and evolution of the stars;
- Cosmology;
- Astronomy and World heritage; History of Astronomy;
- Teaching and communicating astronomy in SEE & Ukraine.
